Science Cafés

Join us for a series of engaging and informal Science Cafés where curiosity meets conversation! These events bring together scientists, innovators, and community members to explore exciting topics in a relaxed setting.

What is a Science Café?

A Science Café is an informal event where scientists and the public come together to discuss scientific topics in a relaxed, conversational manner setting- often held in cafés, libraries, or community centers. The goal is to make science accessible and engaging by encouraging open dialogue, questions, and curiosity without the formality of a lecture or classroom. These gatherings typically feature a short talk by a scientist followed by lively discussion, making them a great way to connect communities with current research and real-world applications.

This season, we’re thrilled to host three unique cafés:

  • EverNorth – Dive into cutting-edge research and its real-world impact on Wednesday, August 27th.
  • Three Bridges – Connect across disciplines and discover collaborative breakthroughs.
  • Cleveland Whiskey – Savor science with a spirited twist, featuring the intersection of chemistry and craft distilling.

Whether you're a science enthusiast or just curious, there's a seat waiting for you. Come for the insights, stay for the conversation!
